Aldervan Daly in City & State NY!

We’re thrilled to share that our very own H. Aldervan Daly, VP of Development and Communications at HousingPlus, has been recognized by City & State New York as an exemplary leader dedicated to serving vulnerable New Yorkers.

Aldervan shared, “I am so proud to be part of HousingPlus, where we not only provide housing but also amplify the voices of the women and families we serve—empowering individuals and creating stronger, healthier communities.”

We’re fortunate to have Aldervan leading our efforts to share the impactful stories of the women and families we support, build awareness, and highlight the transformative power of community. His leadership is central to our mission of providing secure housing, comprehensive services, and uplifting those we serve.

HousingPlus receives the two highest scores from HUD for second year in a row!

For the second year in a row, our two Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded projects scored the highest scores in the city out of 150 other housing service providers in the 2024 Annual Continuum of Care Evaluation!

Grace House Consolidated scored 95.96 and Lincoln Park scored 95.61!

This is all possible because of our amazing Programs team members who always deliver quality service to our participants!

HousingPlus Overview

HousingPlus has creating housing for women and families facing homelessness in New York City for over 20 years. Our goal has been to create a place where women can feel safety and belonging. We provide supportive services including case management, employment services, counseling, and more.

HousingPlus Tour: East New York

Shepherd Glenmore is a new housing development. HousingPlus will be able to expand our reach to an additional 70+ women or women-led families in East New York. Our goal is to double the number of units of housing we support.

HousingPlus receives Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award!

We’re thrilled to announce that HousingPlus is one of this year’s recipients of the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award for the Northeastern region!

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve been awarded $125,000! This is a monumental recognition of our efforts and commitment to a Housing First approach, providing community based housing and supportive services to women, gender diverse people, and their families.

Honoring Their Service

Over a decade ago, HousingPlus recognized the unique challenges faced by our brave female veterans, today, we’ve grown to become NYC’s  largest provider of permanent housing for these brave women and their families. We’re proud to announce our goal to raise $15k to further enhance supportive services tailored to our veterans. Let’s come together and make a difference for those who’ve served our country and given so much of themselves.
