HousingPlus receives Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award!
We’re thrilled to announce that HousingPlus is one of this year’s recipients of the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award for the Northeastern region!
Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve been awarded $125,000! This is a monumental recognition of our efforts and commitment to a Housing First approach, providing community based housing and supportive services to women, gender diverse people, and their families.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who voted for us. Your belief in our mission empowers us to help our tenants reach their highest potential and create meaningful change in their lives.
Honoring Their Service
Over a decade ago, HousingPlus recognized the unique challenges faced by our brave female veterans, today, we’ve grown to become NYC’s largest provider of permanent housing for these brave women and their families. We’re proud to announce our goal to raise $15k to further enhance supportive services tailored to our veterans. Let’s come together and make a difference for those who’ve served our country and given so much of themselves.
HousingPlus is a finalist for the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards grant
We are excited to share some fantastic news: HousingPlus has been selected as a regional finalist for the 2024 Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards! As a regional finalist, HP has already been awarded $30,000 and now has a tremendous opportunity to secure up to $350,000 in funding to expand our impact within the New York City community!
Being Seen Part II Exhibit
HousingPlus volunteer and supporter Ann Rosen, debuts her exhibit, “Being Seen Part II” on July 8th 2023, at the FiveMyles art gallery in Brooklyn- near the Brooklyn Museum. The “Being Seen” series includes photographs of HousingPlus tenants. A portion of sales will directly support HP programs. The exhibit runs through August 13th. We hope to see you there!

HousingPlus’ 3rd Fitness event was a big success!
Our 87 participants totaled over 3 million steps and raised $44,500 for women and families! Congratulations to our winners L+M Development Partners (most team steps), Maricela Ayala (most individual steps), and Gammon Enterprises (most footprints).
