On June 13th, nearly 100 supporters joined us at Trinity Commons for an evening of action and activation,  in support of creating meaningful change and healing from a broken legal system. The evening celebrated some of the most ardent activists and community leaders working to create meaningful change across our broken legal system.

Special guest speakers and Good Person Award recipients, Maya Wiley, Fox Rich, and Rev. Sharon White-Harrigan shared dynamic and impassioned remarks with personal reflections that led to their work across advocacy, outreach, and policy reform. They underscored the need for organizations like HousingPlus that provide foundational resources and critical services for women and their families to take the steps on the pathway to healing, security, and realizing their fullest potential.

Community Justice Leadership Award recipients Roz Smith, Dr. V, and Leah Faria were recognized for their work within the community to help more women and gender-expansive people move forward and heal from the criminal legal system.

The critical need for our services is ongoing. Your gift to HousingPlus supports our continued efforts to bring about change and answer the needs of the many women and families that rely on our services to heal, thrive, and succeed.
